Twin-pack carbon integrated wipeable CE marked aprons
Our aprons integrate product, behavioural and service innovation.
Product Innovation: CE marked EN13795 apron with alcohol and water resistance utilising a high performance 130 gram/m2 polyester carbon blend. With a ratio of 99.4% polyester and 0.6% carbon the fabric is optimised for repurposing or recycling at end of life. The integrated carbon fibre confers both antistatic and longevity properties.
Behavioural Innovation: The apron can be wiped between patient contacts saving:
- Time in donning and doffing; and
- Decreasing infection and prevention and control risks associated with donning and doffing.
Service Innovation: Each apron is able to be decontaminated at least 75 times using industrial healthcare laundry facilities up to 80 celsius.
They have been designed for performance, value and minimising environmental impact using circular economy principles.
The fabric manufacture and assembly is all completed within the UK.
